What do we learn from this passage?
- Any church, denomination, and individual Christian can be like Laodicea:
- Materially wealthy but spiritually poor
- Beautiful in appearance but spiritually miserable and wretched
- Self-sufficient but spiritually poor, blind, and naked
- We are to glorify our Lord Jesus Christ with zeal in our life and witness.
- Our Lord Jesus knocks upon the door of our hearts.
- Repentance leads to victory.
- Will you let Him in?

- Jesus is the True (genuine) Holy, Son of God with all authority and power.
- The church (believers) have an “Open Door” of opportunity to share the Gospel of the Kingdom!
- The Church will be “kept from” the “Great Tribulation”.
- We are given many wonderful promises: God’s presence, Eternal Citizenship in the New Jerusalem, the new Name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We are to remember, trust, and obey God’s Holy Word.

Our names are written in heaven in the Lamb’s Book of Life!

What do we learn from these passages?
- The Lord Jesus Christ keeps watch over His Church. Matthew 28:20, Psalm 121 .
- We, the Church and as individual Christians will face difficulties in this John 16: 33, Romans 8:36, 1 Peter 3-9, 1 John 4:4.
- We are to be faithful even though it may mean our death. Romans 8:35-
- God will reward His children for their faithfulness and for the suffering they endure. 1 Peter 1:3-9.
- We overcome through the “Blood of the Lamb.” The second death has no power over us. 1 John 4:4, Revelation 20:11-15.
