How do these descriptors apply to us today?

• The Church as “salt” is to preserve and proclaim God’s truth and influence the world for good! (We are to be difference makers!)
• The Church as “light” is to illuminate the pathway that leads to and acknowledges Jesus Christ as the only Lord and Savior.  (Light-bearers!)
• The Church is to glorify God: (Give honor, worship, praise, focus attention on God, and acknowledge His Sovereignty)

• You will be attacked for your faith in Jesus Christ and when you are, Rejoice-jump for joy!    

• We are no different than the prophets of old-we will all be rewarded by God one day!
